Wax taster kit

I love trying new things. I wrote a blog series on the different hard wax colors just to give myself an excuse to buy and try them all out!Advent Calendar OverviewIt's a bit much I know.

Luckily you don’t have to start your own blog to do the same. You can get the wax taster kit!

It includes:

All the different hard wax colors

  • Blue: 35mm round ring, slice piece 40x35x20mm
  • Green: 35mm round ring, slice piece 40x35x20mm
  • Purple: 35mm off centre ring, slice piece 40x35x20mm
  • Turquoise: 35mm flat ring, slice piece 45x35x15mm
  • Wolf gold: 35mm flat ring, slice piece 45x35x15mm
  • Orange: no ring tubes in this color! Slice piece 45x35x15mm

  • 2 sheets pink wax .8mm
  • 100cm round wire 2.5mm
  • 200cm round wire 1.5mm

  • 100 cm half round wire 2.5mm
  • 100cm half round wire 3mm
  • 1 Square wire

And a few special shape waxes

  • 10mm oval bangle wax
  • 1 round tube
  • 1 pear tube

I live in the Netherlands and the different wax colors I can get here are limited. Same for soft waxes, the variety isn’t that big. I know I’m not the only one because every week someone reaches out to me on Instagram to ask where to get a certain wax because they can’t find it in their own country.

Deciding if you should get an untried wax from abroad is a difficult decision. You might not like it, and on top of that are the extra shipping costs!

There’s a big chance that the Netherlands is abroad for you, it’s only a small country after all. That’s why I made this wax taster kit full of options! You can try out a wide variety of different waxes. In big enough sizes that you can make multiple pieces from them and actually get a feel for the wax. In small enough sizes that you won’t be stuck with a full box of wax that you don’t like.

Everybody likes different things! The only way to find out what wax you like is to try different ones! And when you know what you like, you know if something was fun to try out once, or if it’s worth it to get more from abroad!
